Today this has happened to me very often. The browser kept crashing. So now, basically, I canot use it. Does not open any page, it crashes on all sites. Anybody knows why?

What OS version are you on? And how much free memory does Device Monitor show?

10.3.2.2836, with 1,4 gb of RAM available. It did like this almost all day. And it's a Passport Silver Edition.

Hmm, it's likely not a RAM issue in that case. Can you try a soft reset of the phone by holding down the power button for 10 seconds and see if that helps?

I encounter the same problem. My fear is that an update to the browser is necessary and I don't know who's there to do it!

I just have random app crashes. Browser instagram and the likes I don't think it's a ram issue either and I can't seem to figure it out

I have been experiencing crashing of the app Nobex where it will start up and then crash like it was never opened. Once it starts running it seems OK. Issue for last week or so.

I tried a reset, but the same. Now I installed a Mozilla Firefox apk and I gave up native BlackBerry 10 browser. Very unpleasant, and a sign that the gorgeous OS that BlackBerry 10 used to be is left for dead. Maybe I will consider getting a new phone, after 8 BlackBerry phones and 7 years of non stop BlackBerry use. Mozilla Firefox works just fine, by the way.

Thank you, I just tried and it works now. Let's hope it will stay this way. But the issue remains: are we really left with no hope for the beautiful OS that is (was) BlackBerry 10?

It happened to me last week. Regardless of the site, it crashed or closed the tabs by itself. It was really annoying so I just wiped it with an autoloader Now it's working perfectly

I have never had my browser crash at all! I don't understand why people complain about the BlackBerry 10 browser. It does page rendering much faster than the other android browsers. I firmly believe you all have to clear of your browser history, cache once in a while!

I own a PP SE for a while now... but since a few weeks my browser starts to crash. doesn't matter if normal or private browser.
It looks like the overall performance is getting worse.
I never had any problems like that with my Q10.

I always clean my cache and my history. Nonetheless, it happened. Now it is fine, but we'll see what is next. We really need an update for BB10. Not to mention the lack of apps, but I can live with that.

I have this browser issue. It's unresolved. Got so frustrated that I did a security wipe and reload. Now it's started again. I don't know how to fix it. I also have Evolution Browser which I use when using the native browser is impossible and sometimes that crashes. No-one I know has a reason or cure. Passport original.

If you guys have this issue with Google, then why am I not seeing this in my browser? Maybe it's the webpage from the server in your location that's causing the issue. In India, none of my BB10 buddies have this issue with their browsers.

We in Belgium (as you all know "the surprise package of Europe") experienced substantial web problems before the day before yesterday. I created a workable runaround using the Evolution browser, but I didn't changed any setting whatsoever. Just purged the caches where possible.
In the mean time everything settled "as before" since yesterday.
Often people react too impulsive, creating more and more problems as a result... while simple patience is the best choice as I learned from my own bloody experiene.
All my engines operate as I can expect from BlackBerry: just outstanding and super performing as ever!

I had the same stuff happening to me in Belgium on Tuesday night. At some point, the browser kept crashing. I have a lot of tabs open at any given time, so decided not to restore them. And even with just one tab open, same issue with any website. Put down the phone at a certain point and got back to it in the morning and the problem wasn't there anymore. Weird stuff.

Yeah they are just all holding it wrong...

It's an outdated Browser... if it works for you use it. But don't tell others that they are doing something wrong - the BB10 browser is outdated and not working well on some sites with updated security requirements and clearly on Google with what they are doing or testing.

Those still using BB10 will have to hope that 10.3.3 does in fact include an update to the Browser.
