    Hi all,
I'm currently using Chrome beta from Google store for browser but is there anything better that's actually made for BlackBerry. I ask because my native browser seems to not work that great.

    Thanks

Another endorsement for Browsie. The keyboard shortcuts are perfect, too. Close tabs with the press of an X or going through tabs by pressing A or Z, extremely quickly: two thumbs up.

Yandex Browser for me. Kicked the tires on Keyboard Browser but eventually went back to Yandex.

Hmm. When I pull it up on Google Play, it's full name is Yandex Browser with Protect. Here's a screenshot. I'm not sure how to share it via Google Play.

Since you're comparing to Keyboard Browser, I'm guessing you're using an Android device.
Can you confirm if Yandex browser actually runs well (if at all) on BlackBerry 10?

Yea I'm not sure. If android apps don't run out of the box, can't they still be patched?

You can't. People are just using other 3rd party apps as their main browser. I still use the default BB10 browser--still works for me.

That is quite stupid. I mean there is even an option for using standard-apps.

Yes, I would like to change the Browsie Browser as the standard-browser. But brookie229 said it's not possible.

Actually you are supposed to be able to do it. In practice it doesn't seem to work very well.
Anyway, you can try it yourself. Just long press a link to a website, select "Open In", check "Set as default app", then select your favourite browser.

The default App section in the settings doesn't let you set defaults. It only shows you your current defaults, and allows you to reset the defaults (to the default defaults).

Yep, this method does work on some sites and for some apps but is hit and miss in my experience. Assigning a key is probably the best method. IE. "b" for Browsie Browser etc.
