Hi

So I have bought a small bluetooth keyboard to work with my BlackBerry Z30.

I'm used to use BSSH, or need to write long text. So why not ?

As I'm french, I have chosen an AZERTY keyboard.

Result : the device is immediately know by the BlackBerry OS. So set up is quiet easy BUT and unfortunately BUT !

Only QWERTY keyboards work
So I can't use special characters.

And unfortunately with android applications it's near unusable !

Moreover floating action bar is bad positionned

Of course I have opened tickets and requests on JIRA tool.

As far as, I should be able to :
- switch AZERTY / QWERTY key map
- Alt + tab to switch between the opened application
- windows key to go to home screen
- windows + tab to switch between application or hub

As a developer, I'd like to add support but it isn't possible. I'd like to map some keys :
- print screen key for screenshot
- media key (volume, play, forward...) to control media player
- alt + return to complete or choose a predictive word

And of course BlackBerry OS should support landscape mode fully. It's important for Z10/Z30 device. It's my point of view if we want to use our great device as a laptop !

At last, a plan for MS Office on BlackBerry 10 device ?

BlackBerry 10 seems not to work properly with Bluetooth keyboards as even on mine when paired with my Z10 I can't use special characters. I've got on the keyboard US qwerty layout, which is not my traditional layout. On Windows 8 and Linux (Fedora 20) the keyboard works perfect.

I have opened a ticket ; I'm thinking that BlackBerry fixes the issue but only with 10.3 release !

I had same problem cause I am using bt mouse and bt keyboard with my z10 to write journalist reports for sports.
I kinda solved problem with find and replace function.
For instance instead of ? i type zh, instead of ? i type ch, and after I am done writing i just correct all letters

Has anyone tried with a 10.3 leak, or do we have to wait for 10.3.1, since 10.3 is for the Passport, which already has a physical keyboard ?
