I dont think anyone ever made something that will be timeless in how secure it is. Understanding trends and developing your own strategy or solution, with the knowledge and hardware you have are the only things anyone should rely on. Theres always another exploit.

Nice, I Didn't install it on my Passport to check but good to hear. Thanks for letting me know. I suppose the blackberry haters will say it's because it's "to old to be effected" or something similar. Regardless of why, good to hear. Android is going to be like windows soon. I hope Avira is as good as they say, always done right by me on windows but android is a different animal. My mom has the Pro version of Avira on her Sammy (soon to be blackberry android by next year) and it seems to do its job as far as I can tell. Reviews hold up. Seems avast versus avira, Avira wins in the end. I dunno of anymore that are a fully trusted name yet. Also Avira isn't a resource hog which is nice. I won't use an antivirus yet but I bet in the future we will all need one unless android bakes one in and keep it updated somehow.. if one has a blackdroid now, is an antivirus un needed? Secure I know doesn't mean not able to be infected but does blackberry make its own scanner on droid as it scans the apks on BB10 prior to install?..

In a Nutshell, What is the worst that can be maliciously done with this bluebourne? It's sure good (convenient) for some TV box manufacturers and other stuff alike, upgrade! Upgrade, Upgrade! As in the hardware! Hah...

The fact that newer Bluetooth stacks are vulnerable, while other are secure tells us all we need to know about the security of Android.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried running the Armis vulnerability scanner app on a BB10 device?
