My car bt audio streaming music crackles and pops. In the betas it was crystal clear, I am baffled why in their official update quality is crap worse than previous 10.1

If it's any consolation, the 10.2 leak is great. I'd had a continuing problem with streaming audio with BB10. I'd be able to play music that was resident on my device just fine, but anything I tried to stream over WiFi (like Slacker, for instance) would frequently freeze up after a couple of minutes. That's been settled.

Audio quality is excellent, too.

I always used bluetooth headphones since 10.0 and I've never seen a difference in sound quality up to 10.2.0.1047. Maybe you could try with a different bluetooth audio device for verification?

No it's the Q10 10.1MR , some beta builds were crystal clear.
