Google created a “runtime” that allows any Android app to run on Chrome OS. To test it out, it released four Android apps—Vine, Evernote, Duolingo, and Sight Words—that are now on the Chrome Web Store. Installing one of these apps will get you the runtime, and then you can “sideload” an Android app and run it on your Chromebook.
Thanks! Just got the 10.3.1 update and downloaded vine on my chromebook. I'll look for a way to sideload blend on my chromebook.
When you find out how to sideload an Android app to a Chromebook, please share. I'm using a managed CB so I might not be able to sideload anything but I'll never know until I try!

If someone posts the apk for blend, I will work at it

I sent you PM; have APK. If you're willing to look into this, would appreciate it!
Just use 1Mobile or any other APK download website.
But the APK crashes on Chromebook. Someone needs to tinker with it.

I am super interested to know where things stand with this...Blend on my Chromebook would be the best combo for our outfit.
I have it working fine on an Asus C300 Chromebook as well as an Amazon Kindle.
WHOA! How did you do that. Please please help.
Seems to only work on ARM-based Chromebooks :(

Sorry. All I have are ARM based units.

Blackberry soon-to-be-noob here... I have a Passport int he mail and headed to me. One of the most compelling reasons why I got it was Blackberry Blend. I do however work with a Chromebook at one of my office locations. Would love to get Blend working on it.
How exactly do we "side-load" apks on Chromebooks, exactly?
And where do I find the apk for Blend?
Finally, I have a Toshiba Chromebook. No idea about the processor (ARM vs non-ARM). Anyone know?
Sorry if these are obvious questions.
