Hello everybody,

After upgrading my Z10 STL100-2 to leaked 10.2.0.1743, I'm experiencing big problems with Blackerry Link USB connection: it keeps connecting and disconnecting immediately. It is now completely unusable to backup or to upgrade to a more recent leak ...

I'm running Windows 7 with latest Link (10.2 b028).

Any idea ?

I am having the same issue after upgrading to 1767.
To solve it temporarily I restart both the pc and the Z.

I am also an STL100-2 owner.
I thought I was the only one.

I experienced the same after upgrading BlackBerry World: Disconnects during backups.

I noticed that if I turn off my anti virus software prior to launching BlackBerry Link, everything works well. Odd, yes, but it does the trick.

See if that will work for you and please post your results.

Thanks for suggestions, unfortunately it didn't help, keep going up and down every 2 seconds.

Try reloading link. Turn your phone off and pc. Reboot both. Maybe your pc is trying to update drivers or looking for a password you have set on your phone.

I have tried with another computer that never was connected to the Z10 ... and it worked. At least I have a short term solution. On the other computer I have tried reboot, reinstall BB Link, ... nothing works. Using my other PC I could upgrade the Z10 to 10.2.1.476 and same problem with the first PC.

The problem comes and goes depending on the OS my precious is "wearing".

What's strange is that is worked perfectly before upgrading to 10.2.X. I have tried latest leaks for 10.2.0 and 10.2.1, same problem. At least I have a temporary fix

Are you sure it's not looking for driver updates? Sometimes when I load leaks my pc thinks it's a new device and looks for driver updates

I just recently bought another z10 and my new one constantly says it's installing new drivers for it when I hook it up but it always fails. My first one never had that problem though.

Well, I don't know why the connection fails but it definitely fails. It says reconnect or reload os etc.
After the oc and phone restart everything is fine for a while.
