Is it just me or is BB world generally very unstable? Every time I try opening it on my desktop it takes forever to load (probably because of the gazillion JS files it loads -- seems to have been developed by amateurs). If you load it over an HTTPS connection some CSS files refuse to load.

Has BB given up on it's app world?

PS: can anyone confirm if Opera Mini works perfectly on the BB OS 10? Without hogging up too many resources or battery.

BlackBerry World is working better than ever for me. Ever since the update, everything loads fast and it's very smooth. Try a restart and if you haven't yet, update your BlackBerry World app (it'll have a new icon). Maybe your Internet connection is the problem

I'm accessing BB World via my desktop browser. Have been waiting for my new Z3 to be delivered and wanted to do some research on available apps. But the desktop experience for BB World is downright pathetic. Not sure how it is going to be on the mobile.

Just following up on this post now that I have my BlackBerry Z3. BlackBerry World app works absolutely fine from the device. I think just the website is broken.

Change https:// to http:// and it works sometimes. It's strange that someone like BlackBerry has misconfigured HTTPS on their website.
