Why does my BlackBerry world always show the red star for updates and then I check and nothing there when I go to my world?

i get that as well a little annoying. but i can live with it as the phone is great

I get that too. Doesn't bother me since the phone is awesome but I do hope BB fixes it soon. A thing to note though is that if there's any real update available, you'll get a notification. So if there's no notification, there's no update.

When you open your world, click apps and games, then in the top bar, click it and switch to updates.

Yeah, this part is a mess so far. You click check for date and nothing comes up. But sometimes there is a drop down menu instead of a slider for Downloaded / Available and drop down contains Updates.

You only get that open in the top bar if there is an update. If there isn't one, you don't get that bar. At least that's what I've experienced in BB World on my Z10.
