I've never witnessed it, so the answer is NO.

BlackBerry Limited right now has one goal when it comes to BB10. Wrap everything up as quickly as possible and with as little expense as possible. They have zero interest in extending the life of BB10. They have already stated as contracts expire during the wrapping up phase of BB10, services will disappear. We are now seeing the second major service disappear. No doubt more will follow as third party contracts expire.

However it should be noted that last year they still had eight million people on BB10 much depends on shrinkage but clients can drive the direction

It was abandoned in 2015 when they switched to Android.

    That was a bit garbled.

The actual number of BB10 users is believed to be under a million.

The sad reality is that OS10 is dead and they are going to put their resources into the Android platform because that’s where the future revenue stream is at.

I loved OS10 as much as any Blackberry purist, but sooner or later you have to cut your losses and move on. Just the way things work in 2018.

His 8 million includes more than just bb10. BB10 never had 8 million active at one point in time at its peak.

Trying? I think they are past trying. They are pretty much stopped on BB10 for some considerable time now.

Don't have to try at this point. It's natural progression now. It'll continue to die off on its own.

Yes BlackBerry abandoned it but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy BB10 for what it is.

When buying a q10 on eBay recently I see plenty of people are still buying older curves/bolds etc with bb7.
You don't have to worry about what blackberry is doing since the bb10 devices out there are great as they are.
