- The fact that you think it is backwards, leads me to believe you are from the future and are moving through time backwards, having just traded in your BB10 for a BB7 device. Cause, backwards? No.
Every time I now have to assist my mom or my sister in fixing their BB7 devices I cringe. It is THAT much better.

- I think he means the fact that bb10 doesn't have all the features bbos had. But he also doesn't understand it took bbos 7 versions and just under 10 years of updates to get it to where it was.

and i was asking a serious question
but stated my opinion/rant
i wanted opinions from people who understands developing etc to give their view on whether they think blackberry needs a new team
thats all10-22-13 02:12 PMLike 0 - I actually heard something quite interesting the other day and someone who knows can you please correct me if I'm wrong.
BlackBerry has this refer a friend program for hiring ppl. Now basically what I've been told is that because of this program they will hire the friend over someone whose more qualified, whether the friend is qualified or not.
Could this explain why the os isn't as polished as we like because there are incompetent ppl being hired over more qualified ppl because of this refer a friend program?

- someones complainte i copied and pasted from returning q10 thread
1) No speed Dials
2) No longer able to call someone directly from their text message
3) Unable to call a phone number directly from the browser
4) Emails are deleted from both the phone and the mailbox automatically without the choice
5) The ringtone and text message notifications of all old Blackberry models users are familiar with has been stripped
6) No more Loud Notification option for Loud environments leading to missed calls, etc.
7) If you get a text and you'r in a browser it will take you 4 swipes to be able to check an incoming text message. The hub leaves off wherever you left it doesn't reset to home
8) The screen is half as bright as the Bold 9900 despite the pixels
9) The speaker volume is not as loud as the Bold 9900
10) Let's say you see a commercial for 1-800-COMPANY. There is no way to type out "COMPANY" anymore and have the corresponding # show up. You have to look at the phone app's letters corresponding with the #'S. HUGE Omissions.
11) The hub looks really cheap. It looks just like facebook and is uncustomizable for the user to a different color
12) The end call button is in the same location as the swipe us gesture needed to leave the phone screen and multi-task to check on an incoming text or email
13) On the Facebook app the "T" shortcut button to take you back to the top of the news feed after looking through it has been eliminated
14) Your next meeting always shows on your home screen with no way to hide it!! What happened to Privacy
15) Editing and cutting and pasting text is very difficult do to the inaccuracy of the touch screen's recognition of where you are touching on your text to edit10-24-13 05:54 AMLike 0 -

I do agree with your premise that they need NOT interact, until they are able to govern themselves accordingly.
Keep the faith...I do like your thread!anonymous92374 likes this.10-24-13 06:31 AMLike 1 - its not my opinion
but #6, i do not care about i think blackberry should make the speaker MUCH SOFTER !
when i have a phone call, its soo loud even though its on the lowest volume
and this is without headset on
i don't want to wear earphones just because i can hear people too loud
by too loud, i mean if i hold the phone away from my face i can makeout whether it is a guy or girl im speaking to and i can makeout what they are saying
where is the privacyLast edited by xenax; 10-24-13 at 06:53 AM.

The OP is clearly a pissed consumer with horrible typing manners but, he got a point: lack of track pad is a PITA at the time of text edit, the stupid magic circle sucks, it's the worst (slow, unaccurate) editing tool i've ever seen.
Posted via CB1010-24-13 08:10 AMLike 0 - If only they could make a virtual trackpad.
There was a developer for PlayBook that made one for the origami browser. And if u take a look at it it's pretty good. You can scroll up down left right, and I'm sure if u did a little more tweaking you could make it useful for editing and highlighting words.
If BlackBerry could do that they would blow any other platform away with text editing

As he/she portrays to 'know' they are amateurs without any proof of claim being produced, therefore it must be first-hand knowledge and...he/she is currently recruiting for more right here in the open forums (hope Crackberry gets a kickback or paid for the job advert).
So with that explained, my only 'no question is a stupid question, just stupid answer' question for djdragon is...Why are you NOT hiring professionals?10-24-13 08:57 AMLike 0 - I updated to 10.2 yesterday. I have not experienced this 'backwards' issue yet. I will post if anything changes.

The Final Destination - Providing The Latest In Urban & Hip-Hop Fashion - Clothing|Tobacconist|Tattoos - C00016D8210-24-13 11:30 PMLike 0 - you know the things listed - is not correct.... at least with 10.2 - and whomever put together this list is not very updated.
you can call directly from sms,
you Can store numbers with letter
reading incoming messages while in another app id done right on the spot - you can even reply - without a single move
the HUB is flexible, with priority and option to color email accounts
Facebook "t" shortcus is there
Next meeting only shows if you swipe Down in your hub, lock-screen messages can be turned off
Marking text/cut/copy/paste is easier than with any other android/ios versions10-25-13 05:09 AMLike 0 - this was my list last month
1. allowing us to change dollar key to anyone we want rather than having to push down
2. options to customise bbm like in bb8520 because i would like to change chat layout and the bbm home layout because pics are too big
3. bb hub should be the hub all the time rather than what was last seen or allow us to choose what happens
4. we should be able to move around picture folders and hide them if we want
5. allow us to send multiple pics on bbm
6. allow us to have different background for different homescreens if we want
7. and option to 'switch application' rather then having to swipe up- id prefer to swipe down from the top and click switch application then the usual blackberry box would pop up like it did in other versions and the swipe up to minimise screens.
8. when the phone is plugged to charger, a percentage symbol should be shown on the screen
9. an option to change themes of our blackberry homescreen etc
10. being able to change BLACKBERRY ID WITHOUT HAVING TO WIPE!
11. i would also like the bbm profile for contacts to be how it originally was and the updates and apps can still be there but i would prefer the have the persons pin on their profile next to their name and pic rather than in the barcode screen
12. I would like to have the option to search my contacts using their pin
thanks10-25-13 06:34 AMLike 0
