Looks like it will include BB 10 handsets although in typical Blackberry fashion, the news release does not seem to spell it out. News is not being picked up or talked about on business news channels.

LOL. You trippin.
At TCL Communication, we are committed to creating the best portfolio solutions, while ensuring the quality support to consumers and enterprise users who trust the integrity of the BlackBerry device and the brand's security leadership, coupled with the Android platform, said Nicolas Zibell, CEO of TCL Communication. Together with BlackBerry's smartphone software platform, this partnership will strengthen our position in the global mobile market.
'Android' and 'a platform that mobile users prefer' - nothing about that screams BB10."This agreement with TCL Communication represents a key step in our strategy to focus on putting the 'smart in the phone' by providing state-of-the-art security and device software on a platform that mobile users prefer and are comfortable with," said Ralph Pini, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Mobility Solutions at BlackBerry.
Haha, they have not ruled out making BB10 handsets.
As Blaize says, "me tripping". Read it again and it says nothing about BB10. Guess it's time to open up the new Android device sitting on my desk. Oh well, crap Droid is better than sheapple.
So sad but CrackBerry will slowly merge with android central if bb10 goes EOL?
I never said I wouldn't.
...but I never said I would either.

Wish BlackBerry 10 could survive, as it looks more feasible than Android for working activities, such as emails, texting, sending PDF attachments, etc...
From my awesome Z30
I haven't ruled out blowing up the Death Star with proton torpedos from my X-Wing over the weekend either. But neither are likely...
But at least the Bothans will get you those blueprints finally! :D

Did they happen to say which markets these would be for ... anything for North America or just Indonesia and the South Pacific?
Every region except Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, and Indonesia . BB already has an Indonesian partner and is negotiating India. I'd expect more info in the upcoming ER this month.
Well, I suppose we shall see if a successor to the whatever the keyboardroid is called will be forthcoming.
A moment ago they posted a picture in Instagram featuring a Passport and they claim they are still supporting bb10

Microsoft still supports Windows 8. This is not a new proclamation from BB.
Many Bothans died...

And that's a true statement - but also a(n intentionally) misleading one, because most people assume "support" means a whole lot more than a final security update patch and picking up the phone for their few enterprise/government customers still using BB10. So, in that respect, it's "marketing-speak" too: a truth that is still incredibly misleading.
BB10: softens hands while you do dishes (but not afterwards, when they're dried out and rough)
BB10: part of a balanced breakfast (the part that is considered "dessert" - aka empty calories)
BB10: Your mileage may vary...
