Outside of BBES of course. There was an interesting documentary on last night (on BBC iplayer for those in UK) where Snowden was saying about the NSA/GCHQ using software called Smurf Suite to exploit mobiles by sending and encrypted text where they can then have total control over your phone.

"It's called an 'exploit'," he said. "That's a specially crafted message that's texted to your number like any other text message but when it arrives at your phone it's hidden from you. It doesn't display. You paid for it [the phone] but whoever controls the software owns the phone."

The security market is a battle.... Usually the guys we the biggest guns wins. If you want to believe that a small struggling company that can't build a Contact App that doesn't have any bugs is capable of out smarting the NSA and other large government agencies... go on believing that.

But what isliye level of BlackBerry security. Is the Level of security so high that tracking apps like maps and Uber or any effective banking apps are missing from playstore. Isn't it that too hype on security can limit the device functionality?
