Has anyone experienced that their carrier is blocking access to BlackBerry server? I gave my old Z10 to my wife and she is having problems with low battery and high PIM usage. When I checked, it seems BlackBerry logo on top appears only when she is on wifi. Same with bbm. The PIM usage is also high only on data network. If I use VPN on data it connects to BlackBerry server again.

Anyone experienced similar issue? Any solution?

I have not experienced this nor am I aware of anyone who has run into the BlackBerry Network (not just a server which might make some people think you mean a BES) being blocked.

Have you tried registering your wife's device with the BlackBerry Network when she is on her carrier network?
