So I just updated on verizon to 10.2.1.537. Everything was running great, downloaded and tested a few android apps, worked perfect. Then I opened BlackBerry world and updated all from the list. It seems it installed BlackBerry runtime for android, and now none of my android apps work. They just load on a black screen saying BlackBerry 10 then nothing but a black screen. It seems that it says in BlackBerry world for BlackBerry runtime for android that if your android apps are working properly then you don't need. Which is of course the case, seeing how none work now and I cannot figure out how to delete BlackBerry runtime for android

Download these two files and sideload them. It'll reset the Android player back to stock.

saw that update in app world as well. anyone else can confirm it breaks android apps?

I would say don't auto update if they work. Definitely broke mine. Dl these other files to side load and try, thanks

Make sure to reboot after sideloading.

I updated from the stock 10.1.0.2039? Straight to 10.2.1.537 on the z10 and yes I'll reboot

Nevermind, I let it sit for a while after it loaded all slow again. Then just popped up. Seems to have opened amazon app store for me, I'll try the others now

OK, so took it a minute to fix it and load right. Now it seems to play the android games a lot faster for me

This fixed my issue although it doesn't sound like the same problem. Had the unlocked runtime loaded on the wifes z10. I did not have hers running the 10.2.1 leaks. When the official got pushed today nothing android would work. After sideloading these 2 files everything seemed back to normal and shes back to playing candy crush.

funny, android runtime in blackberry zone is for 10.2.0, i have update it before go to 10.2.1 and for me blackberry zone dont ask to update it again.
my old converted android app from 10.2.0 still working fine after update to 10.2.1.

Mine is there too, but when I open, it says that the version I got installed is 10.2.1.108 which should be from the official 1925.

Those BARS helped me too as I didn't remove my sideloaded runtime before the 10.2.1 update (*****), but I'm very keen to know if these supplied BARS are actually the same ones that are in the 10.2.1.537 update?

Thanks thurask. For sure, I know they are straight from BB, but I'm wondering if they are the same ones that would/should be in the 10.2.1.537 update. Usually the runtimes have been extracted from the updates and posted - but I just can't find anyone who has done that with the 10.2.1.537 update - so I'm just wondering if these ones from BB are those or some earlier version.
