I have my Passport and my Q10 now on 10.3.1.1151. I've been turning Blackberry protect on with every install. I decided to look at the BB protect site and found that it does not work.

My Q10 was listed but this must be from a previous OS .load. I tested it and it does not communicate with my Q10.

My Passport was not listed at all, even though I had Protect on when I first got it using the legitimate OS.

Is this the case for everyone, No BB Protect on Leaked OS and/or Passport?

No this is not the case on all the leaks. I have used every leak and I always have my phone showing up on the BB Protect website.

Protect usually only doesn't work on early builds aka <1000. Anything above like 1151 should have it working. I would check your BBID to make sure all is kosher and that protect is enabled on device

I do have it working ,with only a slight issue.

I can log into Protect, See my device, it will map location via GPS., however upon testing sending the"sound" to device the sound did arrive (really annoying) but it wouldn't shut off. No matter what I did to try and stop it, tapping all over screen, hitting all buttons, top and slide

I had to hard rest the decision to get it to stop.

It seems to work for me on my z10.. on .1151 it showed my location and it did the notification when i sent that

There are/were issues with .1151 ; Even Blend was misbehaving as was the ability to restore from backups. For me I had to delete Link and Blend from my desktop and then re-install the very latest desktop apps and drivers from BlackBerry Blend ? Desktop Software for BlackBerry - Canada - after that, it worked again. This issue affected Protect, Blend, and Backups for me. They're all working properly, now on my Passport and Z30.

It MAY be the way that the BlackBerry servers are handling new connections with leaked builds or something - perhaps something needs to get 're-connected' ;

I'll bet (if you're still having problems) that other symptoms are showing up like your BBID (despite being correct) is not connecting to your backups. Curious to see if that's true.

Map Location worked to within about 500m.
Play sound worked, hold down volume till 0 to turn off.
Display a message worked.
Lock device worked
Wipe device, not going to try this one just yet.

Battery and network status accurate.
PIN and Number showing as expected.

Thank you everyone testing this out for me. The one thing that seems to be a possibility is that I tried out BES10 Cloud trial on my email address 6 month ago. On the Cloud portal it says I have a device associated with a user, but no device can be found?

I will look elsewhere
