Thanks guys for a great thread..could I have a q10 os sqn 100-3.... 10.3.1 or former...want to downgrade my q10 ...
You cannot downgrade to a previous OS. I.E. if you have 10.3.3.xxxx you cannot go to 10.3.2.xxxx etc. If you have 10.3.2.xxxx you cannot go down to 10.3.1.xxxx.
Hi everyone,
Just downloaded the Q10 file and when opening the zip it shows thos error:
Did any of you had this issue before ?
Thanks.

Link is good. Try 7zip and/or download again.
Got it and opened with 7zip ...thanks.
My P9983 is plugged into my PC, ready, i execute the file and nothing ...is there anything I'm missing here ?
Do you have the USB drivers installed? They would have been part of the BlackBerry Link package.
I'll install BB Link.
should i open Link and then open the exe ?
No need. In fact, when installing Link, it will show three options to install - USB Drivers, Link and Blend (using the most recent install file, which is several years old now). You can check the box for just the drivers, and not bother with the other two.
Hello, ok i'll explain my situation in full ;)
My P9983 is locked with 10.3.0.908 ...and cannot upgrade to a higher version.
The native Sofware Update doesn't let me do it.
Can I use these Autoloader to manually upgrade to 10.3.1 or 10.3.2 or the almighty 10.3.3 ?
And as mentionned earlier.
I downloaded the Q10 file
Unzipped
I plugged the P9983 into my PC
Launched ...and nothing
It actually said, in the "Run Command box": Could not connect to BB Device Manager
Any cues on this ?
Thanks for your help guys.
Yes you will be able to run the 10.3.3 loader I posted.
Is it still doing this after having installed the drivers? If so, try another cable, port, or even computer.
Do I run BB Link and then launch the exe ?
Because when I just launch the exe ...i still get the "Run Command box": Could not connect to BB Device Manager
And yes, the cable is connected properly, since i installed BB Link FROM my P9983
You don't use Link - only the USB drivers.
Exactly. The autoloader is a self contained program that only needs direct access to the device via the drivers.
It worked, thanks a bunch, i owe you guys a round of beers !
My P9983 now runs the 10.3.3.2137
..and now, the real die-hard question:
How can I push the brightness level which is already at full ...at the same brightness level has the 10.3.1 ?
Never heard of this problem. Try a hard reset/play around with brightness slider-turn down, reboot, check, increase brightness etc. Maybe over time your eyes will accept the new level. In 7 years none of my devices have experienced this over the countless OS updates I've done.
will do !
In the meatime, i gotta update the "thing" so that I can access BBW again.
It always give the me the "No Networl Connection" excuse.

Why are you posting this old video in this thread?
Sorry I searched through here and downloaded the autoloaders from Mega for my Z10 and Z30, but where are the Playbook Wifi files at?
In the PlayBook section.... as it's not a BB10 Device. But what do you mean by WiFi files? You looking for a full OS
Different Mega link? Is there a PB autoloader? Is the post-Jan 2022 procedure for PBs same as BB10 devices? Thanks.
No, the Playbook is tied to BlackBerry's Servers.... If you ever have to reload the OS, your out of luck either way, as it will be a brick at that point.
Might as well leave it as it is...
