I'm really bored waiting for the 10.3.3 update. I have a question.

How does the update get to the phone. Does BlackBerry release the update to the service provider which will then allow the update to the device or do we get the update from BlackBerry servers direct. I bought my phone new unlocked and not from the service provider.

Try takin out ur SIM card then putting it back in. That make might work. I did that with one of the updates before, can't remember which...but it worked

    Classic, Q10, Bold 9900, Bold 9000...do u notice the pattern? :-)

Technically, BlackBerry delivers the update from their own servers, but the carriers have to "open the door" so to speak.

A factory-unlocked device doesn't depend on the carrier though.
