Is there still going to be something in the full and final release of 10.3 that will knock our socks off that we don't currently know about and that competitors can't rush out and create an app for before BlackBerry releases it?

Don't expect anything big... It doesn't make that much sense - BlackBerry tries to get out a solid business class product - easter eggs for the fan base are nice, but nothing BlackBerry should focus on...

Didn't APK install come with 10.2.1.1055? Before that we had the leaks but that came in and changed the whole game, right when it hit the 1000's. I'm not saying something big is coming, but I'm definitely not saying that the idea of it is farfetched.

Considering all currently available bb10 devices will be getting 10.3.1, I think their might be a surprise or two but nothing too drastic. With the passport aiming for release in September it should be entering carrier testing any time now if not there already. Which means no real surprises other than maybe blend as was said. But from now till November there is still some time to add/make minor changes for everything else.

You do realise that the instability you describe / complain of comes from the fact that 10.3.0.296 is not a final build!

In the 1XXX versions of 10.3.0 we'll see resizable active frames and a fully working intelligent assistant. Thats the only ones I cant think of for now.

Let's hope that we get more compatibility with Android Apps - like being able to use apps that have a database or that needs to download files to work. And of course the ability to change individual permissions. That would knock our socks off.... but the competition already has that. We will like always, just being playing catch-up.

Maybe they introduce the new UI in 10.3, with all the things which are leaked...and let the surprises roll out in 10.3.1? Look at how different were the releases 10.2.0.xx and 10.2.1.xx!

I am still a firm believer that the active frames will change appearance and offer interactivity! No reason to think that other than the fact that it is a widely wanted feature and BlackBerry has been good with listening to users.

Biggest 10.3 release will be blend forsure tho! (for us leaks)

I am still waiting for native PGP / GPG Support in the Hub for non-BES User -> eMails getting encrypted / decrypted as they come in.

I want to throw that extra Android Device into the Bin, if BlackBerry finally let me read my encrypted eMails on my Z10 at all.

I don't want to use 3rd Party Apps as I had a bad experience back in the Day with misused GPG Keys.

Well it seems we normal Customers are screwed as BlackBerry last year officially stated, that they will Focus on Enterprise Business from now on.

And with All things John Chen is doing lately, it looks they will stay this way forever.

Anyway. Other than that I hope for:
* Now that the specific Call / Telephone API has been made public:
OS integrated Blacklist and/or Whitelist for managing Calls from Stalker and Marketing Spammer.

Such a thing is Standard these Days and I had it in all my past Devices. And: There is still no Sign of it, that we will see a App with that Function when 10.3.0(1) is released.

* Enable that d*mn S/Mime Support on non-BES Devices now!!! It's integrated since 10.0 and simply disabled.

Is BES10 so bad that after more than a year, you still need to use it as an Selling Argument? Looks like it.

All Android and Non-Android Devices I had, allowed me to read my encrypted eMails.

Why does a so called "Most Secure Device" don't allow me to do this? BlackBerry will never again being that successful in the Non-Enterprise Market, if they keep doing the same mistakes.
