Offline maps are sorely lacking from BB Maps.
Probably a dumb question, but how does one delete BlackBerry Maps. It seems core to the OS and does not give the option to delete it like user installed Apps.
To reconfirm, I have never gotten location accurate search results with BlackBerry Maps... even though all location permissions correctly set, so looking for suggestions.

When the voice instructions come on, just hit the volume down button. Only works when the voice is actually speaking. Should be OK for the rest of your trip.

Scout by Telenav works better than Google Maps now. And it works flawlessly on BB10 through Snap.

I just realized that Scout Maps are available through the Amazon Store.

I would like to see Here Maps come to BB either native or an ported Android app.
Downloaded Scout through Snap and Amazon. Cannot get it to go pass login.

Download it from Amazon. That's where I actually got mine. It works extremely smooth

The app is called Scout Maps by Telenav - correct?
Also, is there a monthly fee?
Yes, it's by Telenav. No fee. It's free.

Man, I have downloaded it from both Snap and Amazon, registered online and still cannot get it to work on my Z10.

Not looking forward to putting snap on my new BlackBerry. I do like Google Earth.
Google Earth. A good screen grab image. Sketchbook + stylus pen = a nice combination on the wide PassPort screen! Love it. Very productive.
