I've done 2 battery pulls on my Z10 since upgrading to the Verizon official 10.1.0.2039 software. After each reboot, when I connect to Link I get a Device Software Update Available message indicating that I can update to the 2039 software. Any ideas why that would happen? Is there something missing from my device that would cause Link to say I need an update?

I'm concerned because when I did the update I had to do the software and applications separately, if that makes sense. The Blackberry applications had a separate download as I recall. Once I did that update several issues I had got cleared up. However now I have battery drain problems, hence the battery pulls and then this:
    Blackberry Link says update available-update.png

Suffice it to say I'm concerned and confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you uninstall some of the built in apps or the Verizon Apps? It will keep trying to reinstall those.

I haven't uninstalled apps up to this point. Could an app i've loaded overwritten some system files?

What version of Link do you have? I seem to remember this happening with an old version of link.

If you check for updates from the phone what does it say?

The phone says I have the latest software. My Link software is also the latest, 1.1.1.41.

Since the phone says I'm up to date, I guess it is probably just Link's issue and I shouldn't worry about it.

I have the same issue on two different computers even after the update to .41. I just ignore it now.

I have this issue too. The phone says I'm totally up to date (in settings), but Link says I have updates available...

Link 1.2 fixes issue. This is longer a problem with the leaked update.

I had this issue on my Q. I just left it alone and until seeing thread forgot about it. However, just realized that the last couple/few times I connected to blackberry link I did not get the prompt. So, BlackBerry fixed something somewhere.

Keep up the awesome work BlackBerry!!!

Well, I think Link might have been on to something. I was having battery issues so I wiped and reloaded the OS through Link. Now my battery is lasting through the day and the update messages on Link are gone.

Guess my previous update did not complete properly.
