I'm trying to backup everything in my Q5 except media and docs in BB link. I just want to backup the OS settings and anything related to the device itself.
If I choose backup now , it starts synching my music ... ! even though all the synchronization files unticked and "select data to include in your backup files" also off.
Why? !!

Double check the settings for your PC too on that tab. There may be something set there that is causing this behaviour. I've been able to do a selective/custom backup and don't suffer this issue. Also of course make sure you have the latest version of Link. They've improved it recently.

Nope, everything seems normal in my PC settings.
I ended up selecting "select data to include in your backup files" and including only App data and Settings leaving "media" unselected and seems to do what I want.
Do you know what it's supposed to be backed up if "select data to include in your backup files" isnot selected" Everything including media? even when Synch is all off?
