I mean like in the UK we have the 2 major political parties. Conservative and Labour. Then we have the Libs Dems. Now why do people vote Lib Dem? Well usually because they can't bring them selves to vote Labour or Conservative.
So how many people use bb10 because they refuse to use Apple or Android as thier main phone?
And will BlackBerry ever do the dirty on us like the Lib Dems and get into some ill concieved coalition with one of the two main players.

I think they're the Canadian Liberal Party. From "Canada's natural governing party" to their nadir in an election or two.

They seem more like the tea party. I take that back. Some of the people here on crackberry have a resemblance to the tea party, but others outside of that faction are quite pleasant, and rational.

Please if anything is a political parallel to BlackBerry it's conservative mentality. The term liberal has nothing to do with socialist parties like the liberal party of Canada , ndp or Democrats. People vote these parties just based on the name.

I think BlackBerry would be more "conservative" in the traditional sense. They have their principals, and up until recently, did very little to "rock the boat" or change the way they did things.

Old management stuck to what they were good at, instead of embracing newer technology...

Politically I'm a moderate Democrat, but most everything I do in my life would probably be described as conservative. Whether it be clothes (I don't wear bright stuff or any crazy things to get attention..) or how I act.. and I think that's BlackBerry too.

I keep buying BlackBerry because for a longtime, they didn't really change much. They stayed within their comfort zone, and that became my comfort zone. Sure I could have bought more "fun" phones, but those phones aren't me. I wouldn't say BlackBerry or I'm boring, but my friends would probably say otherwise about me (and BlackBerry too haha).

BlackBerry is more conservative in their designs.. there's nothing risky in what they put out. It's safe. It's familiar. It's what keeps me coming back.
