Just had this link passed my way, which shows some significant limitations in 365 with BlackBerry, its not clear if this just relates to pre OS10. Wonder if anyone can clarify this.

In our environment we use IM under Sametime with a migration to Office365 later in the year, if the table is correct then sadly it looks like our current corporate BlackBerry devices will be no more

Compare how different mobile devices work with Office 365 - office365 suite - Office.com

It's definitely not referring to BB10 as, off the top of my head, BB10 does Exchange Active Sync with Office 365.

BlackBerry business cloud services is used by OS7.1 services and below. Since Active Sync is not being used. RIM host a server for you to get Office 365 email and calendar to your legacy device.

yes I am assuming it has to be pre 10 due to the active Sync, my main concern is finding out if IM will work. I can't see any reference to Lync clients for the Z10

A Microsoft blog posting has a repsonse from Microsoft saying to contact BlackBerry because they do not support third-party software despite Lync being a Microsoft product. With business partners like Microsoft it seems BlackBerry is in bed with Satan. BlackBerry should just port an open source mail, calendar, and instant messaging platform to QNX and offer a virtual appliance instead of relying on the Great Satan.

Just had an update from the BlackBerry business forums, saying BlackBerry are working very closely with MS. So watch this space I guess.
