BlackBerry Incomplete Feature: Conference Broadcast (BBM Screen Share on Desktop?)
One of the things that BlackBerry is missing, is a presentation broadcast feature. Something similar to Webex.
There are times where I can use my BB Z10 to do power point presentations, but most of the time I can't because there are attendees that log in through a WebEx and listen and watch the presentation from a remote location.
This is partially possible with BBM Screen share, but right now it's only two way and not a "broadcast". Also, most users rather watch it from their desktops or laptop. If BlackBerry's mobile computing vision was perfected, where desktop, laptops and tablets are replaced with smartphones, this wouldn't be a problem, but at this point, we're all still using Windows, and there are many corporate applications that simply cannot run on a Smartphone.
BlackBerry really needs to not only accelerate their development, but needs the after burners on as well. They need to win back the businesses that have relied on them for the last decade or so and are starting to waiver.
BlackBerry needs "BBM Conference"!
