I planned to buy z10 and I loved that phone but the only thing that is holding me back is this "Facebook's and Whatsaap's support dropping issue ". Is blackberry doing something to get these Aaps back or their is any probability for facebook to change their mind ?
I like this mobile for emailing and with facebook , messenger and what's aap gone , their is nothing left that makes it special .
should I rely on blackberry that they will sort out and buy this phone ?

    Hi,

No help to the original post, but I wanted to mention that I've just found out that the Z10 doesn't support USB OTG ("on the go") devices, which is something I wish I'd checked for, before buying an OTG USB pen / stick drive.

    Regards

The developers of these Apps pulled the plug, it has nothing to do with BlackBerry.

They're selling Android phones. That solved the problem.

Can't we not sideload whatsapp? I saw someone say somewhere that you can download the apk directly from them and if you stop the app backing up it works well.

Can't send photos/videos/documents. Has a problem accessing stuff located on the phone, so it's really useless.

    Like seriously?????
I was depending on just sideloading and using the app for next year while I save for a new phone. This stinks.

WhatsApp for Android works just fine on Blackberry Z10. The Android messenger app also works. I even get notifications on both from the Hub.
