With the statement by the new interim CEO, the Blackberry Jam Europe event being cancelled and nothing on the road map for native SDK development, is Blackberry now going to abandon BB10 OS developers? It would be nice to hear something from Blackberry saying that they will continue to working on native SDK development for BB10 OS. Right now, as a developer, I feel that without a statement directly from Blackberry, I will be nervous in doing any more native BB10 app development.

They just released that Flurry thing for devs to do native apps.

You want roadmaps? I'll give you roadmaps! (Gosh, what movie did I get this from: lol)

Release roadmap - Runtime for Android apps - BlackBerry Developer

Release roadmap - BlackBerry SDK for Adobe AIR - BlackBerry Developer

Release road map - HTML5/WebWorks for BB10 - BlackBerry Developer

Release road map - BlackBerry Native

Cancelling events when you are trying to figure out where to go makes sense. They just got a "loan" and spending that money responsibly is a very good idea.

We also know some features like long running headless apps are only going to land with 10.2.1 so yeah... I really don't see why you should be worried. Code on.

    What's Flurry?

Download Noted, a 5-star rated, native BB10 memo pad app.

Those road maps are in the past except for Android runtime. There is nothing for the future. Even the delayed pieces in Native have no updated time frame. So this means that all future development is in Android and not BB10 OS native.

All it means is that they need to update their pages.

And that you're either trolling or reading too much into nothing.
