Was thinking if Blackberry brings in fresh features and brings out big guns with the OS10.2 then it might just have that positive buzz we all need for a reverse in already bad reputation.

I hate to say it, but BB 10.0 was not ready at launch. If 10.2 comes out before Christmas in the US, I feel BlackBerry will have a fighting chance.

I really hope they bring in alot of things aside from the new android runtime!

10.2 should bring back key features of the legacy OS. One that I'm really hopeful for, is more ring tones. I am pretty sure we are all disappointed at the lag of choices to customize our apps and emails ring tone. I still believe in BlackBerry and will always support them until the end.

Strange that people are focusing so much on the failed (or could be better OS) when apple introduced OS 7 everybody here was taking about how they stole and how supperior BBOS10 was. I think BB needs to keep moving their earnings per share is -0.34 vs -1.2 yesterday they have yet to introduce their cheap quwerty Q5 devices they got more cash now, skipping play-book and focusing on other things seems like a nice strategy - especially since Berry been mostly work and no play anyways

Actually, the target should be back to school sales in August /September. Anything later than that they lose all momentum. They need to be fresh and have constant updates. Not waiting 6 months between releases that have minor feature updates.

Everybody has to calm down...they built 10 from the ground up, of course its going to have a few hiccups in the beginning. once they get all the feedback from people, positive and negative, they will make the right changes in their next update(s)

For me the OS and experience is close to perfect, it's only the apps and games selections..

Not that what's available is bad, but it'll take time to get better..

I believe BlackBerry should find a way to convert all the Android apps and put them on BlackBerry World..

And make some kind of gauge... for the dev.
If he sees enough motivation to go native then let it be...

And about games , just convert it.
If it works it works...
No need to go native..


Just yesterday i put Need for speed most wanted on my Z10 and it works perfectly you wouldn't even tell it's a port.
So why doesn't EA just throw in BlackBerry World and charge a couple of dollars for it..

Well, 10.2 might be great and all, but the carriers being in the middle delaying the updates is killing BlackBerry.

I never experience the random reboots but I did experience really awful battery times under 5h with low usage, how is it possible that there are still tons of people in the US and other countries still having to put up with such big problems when the firmware upgrade that fixes them has been out for at least a month? Sad...

My Z10 with leak 2342 is almost perfect, if everyone could enjoy a similar experience sales would be much better...

Im talking about apps.. talking about extra gimmicks that fools want to see to get them to buy a phone ex.samsung. Android runtime.. anything that would make them ahead of the competition. Something new! Something fresh! Something mindblowing.
