Anyone have any recent experience with Samsung SideSync?
How does it compare to Blend?
Does it work well with a fast phone/fast computer?
Is it useful?
Any thoughts?

Sidesync is getting replaced with Samsung Flow as of the Oreo update/S9 launch, so comparing to that is more apt.
Flow is closer to Blend, since it has a desktop interface for doing things (while still allowing for screen mirroring). It syncs notifications to the Windows notification panel, allows for file transfer, allows for responding to notifications (for some apps, a la Blend), has Internet tethering, and, if your PC has Windows Hello support, you can use a Samsung phone to log in with the fingerprint reader.
The downside of Flow is that it's a UWP app and it does everything over Bluetooth; file transfers are done over WiFi Direct after initial pairing, but there's no USB only option like Blend.
For when it is time to leave Passport, I am stuck between a Key2 or a Samsung.... I'm just not sure if I prefer a Blend wannabe or a QUERTY keyboard.
Will Flow work on an S8? or just the S9?
On Android, you can sms from your desktop anyway.
Blend/Flow has some advantages of putting things together, but it's still all doable.
Android Messages uses the cloud for that IIRC.
