I always keep Assistant open in an active frame so as to mitigate the lag when opening it after a few apps are open or from a cold open; the lag isn't frequent but will happen from time to time. Plus it's great that keeping it open won't affect the amount of system resources used compared to when the active frame is closed.

The eight tiles of recent requests on the UI are great and I think if that was expanded to include more tiles in the empty area (looks like eight more will fit) at the top it would add more useful functionality to Assistant. I propose that the user could "pin" a frequently used request in that empty space like opening a specific app, checking today's calendar, checking messages sent from a particular person, and so on.

*Oh and what ever happened to "voice adaptation" of the voice dialing of old?

They should probably allow those Tiles to use different colour text as well, the Foursquare one is virtually impossible to see

What is the "voice adaption" feature?

It was a part of BBOS where you were asked to repeat words and a series of numbers for when you use Voice Dialing to call a contact or phone number.

As in to train it for your voice? Or to prompt you each time step by step?

A one-time setup for voice accuracy, I think it was a part of the software used for Voice Dialing for BBOS

It was needed in the days when voice recognition was done on the device. Now that it is done in the cloud it isn't needed.

'Ok...' and 'Hey...' are already taken, so how about a "Yo Assistant"?

Multiple language support! My English is fine but I can't send anything out (txt, bbm, whatsapp etc) using the BlackBerry Assistent because my native language is Dutch

I know it's a long shot but it would be awesome!
