    Can someone explain to me how 10.2 is rolled out across the globe (Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, and Europe) this week but in the US sometime this winter? This version (unlike 10.1) isn't a from scratch re-write as I understand it, so how come the delay?

    Yes, sure. Answer is: Carriers.

    They will want to test and test the new release before they actually deply, thus delaying it for the US users.

    BlackBerry isn't making them any money right now . They'll get around to it sooner or later. Imo

    Adam writes on the front page that BlackBerry learned something and is doing a better job rolling out the update. I don't know how long 10.2 has been in leaked form but this sure seems a long way from good. Is it better than some of the past bungling? Sure, but that is an awfully low bar.
