@BBPandy why not? Because we just got the Z30 in October/November? I would welcome that device with open arms if it is awesome on battery life and a great design language! I know 8-core sounds like a battery sucker but if BlackBerry can optimize the **** out of BB10.3/4/11? And maybe put in a slightly bigger battery, then we may have a super phone that's even better than the Z30 which is literally amazing right now! I'm hoping they use the 805 for this(If there is truth) or the new Mediatek Processor that was just announced. It's an octa core with a lower cost and still supports 4G LTE and whatnot.

Here's a link on the processor:

I would rather a faster better 32bit chip then a slower crappier 64bit chip

Totally understandable! I'm not sure if this chip is 64-bit though. There's no literature on the chip being 64-bit in a few of the other articles it's been mentioned in. Unless I'm silly and anything over 4 cores is 64-bit, then I totally apologise!

Why not two CPUs, nobody does a smartphone with 2 processors and I am sure QNX can handle that...

Good cause I can't buy a Z30, even direct from BlackBerry, and by the time they do I'll just wait for what is next. Hopefully this time they will learn to price the device appropriately and decide to market it. Oh and NO CARRIER EXCLUSIVES!!!

Honestly who cares if it's 64 bit? Give me something that's efficient, 4 cores at high clock speeds, and an improved GPU and I'll be more than a happy camper

Yeah that definitely would be awesome especially if it works well. With that though, if BlackBerry can make this work, be ahead of the pack and group in new features that blow reviewers AND turn consumer's heads, then I think we could possibly have a hit!

    Guys...did you read?

It says there will also be a midrange one codenamed Ontario...so the 32 bit quadcore is the midrange and the 64bit octa-core is the high-end one!

Also, that is awesome because september is when my contract is up for renewal! UPGRADE TO THE MONSTER!

I hope the source is correct because 2015 is a heck of a long time to be waiting for the next generation of BlackBerries.
