    It's built using the SwiftKey SDK, and uses SwiftKey's AI to learn from texts and emails and such to predict how you string words and phrases together.

    Thanks! I thought it was Swiftkey, but where is the processing of that information done? Is it local on BB10?

    I believe so, but I don't have any information other than educated guessing. If it's not local to the device then it's communicating with BlackBerry servers somewhere. While it's true Microsoft bought SwiftKey last year I don't think there's any license deals because SwiftKey made an SDK for other platforms to use, so there shouldn't be any user info going to Microsoft servers.

    That's what I assumed. Any idea how someone would confirm something like that? We'd be happy to take their word for it, if that's published. Personally, I wouldn't even know where to look though.
