For those who are interested, BlackBerry have published the list of changes between software release 10.3.1.1581 and 10.3.1.1779 on the knowledge base:

Wow thanks for that! Where did you get it from? The information is so detailed! Especially the Android bit; I didn't realise they cared about things like Spotify so much!

Unfortunately for Android BB is taking Amazon as base.
That's why they are not moving forward from 4.3 and even the latest beta is on 4.3.
And Amazon is not 100% supporting BB10 if we consider Here Map as valid example.

Sadly, the current issues on "some" STL1 devices has not been mentioned on the Released Notes.

Here Maps has nothing to do with Amazon. The app doesn't even work when loaded via Snap, and I don't think Nokia is interested in making it work for BB10.

What I'm saying is, Amazon doesn't develop Here. They only show and hide apps based on "compatibility", most likely Android runtime level and screen size, they won't individually test them for BlackBerry compatibility.

Working, somewhat, on my Z30 on 10.3.1.1767. Loaded via 1Mobile. Note the reference to BB10 in the About note.

Sorry, I scrolled past that in my screen shots. It's 2.0.0 as downloaded from 1Mobile. I find Here Maps to be slow and laggy compared with Google Maps .

Funny how the blue LED and screen flicker are classified as security issues.

If you feel comfortable doing so, you can easily update your device using Sachesi or using an autoloader (although the latter method will wipe out all of your phones data, so it's generally good to make a backup before doing so and then restoring it once your device software has been updated).

V2.0.0 is nowhere available, The latest is v 1.1 and the same is available on 1Mobile too.
Either you are using very old version (a very first release) or something else.

I'm pretty sure I downloaded Here Maps from 1Mobile. But I have Snap and Google Play (ala Cobalt) as well, so I could be mistaken. I provided a screenshot in my earlier post showing my copy is the 2.0.0 version.

I also see that 1Mobile and Google Play list the version as 1.1. I think that might be an error where they neglected to edit the version number. Check the updated date as listed on Google Play (March 19, 2015). Have you tried downloading the posted version?

That's a screenshot of the old here maps Android version which only supported what the website offers.
This is a screenshot of the native BlackBerry 10 app Mobile maps, looks quite similar. :-)

Looks like it's just a wrapper for the website. Too bad, I was hoping to get another offline mapping program. I used Here on the Lumia 521 in places with absolutely no cell signal and it was a great resource.
