I just picked up these excellent noise cancelling headphones, which generally get rated as equivalent to or better than the Bose QC35's. They are a touch more expensive, but I picked them up on-sale for about $50 cheaper than the Bose units. (MSRP CDN$ = Sony 499, Bose 349).

Just reporting that they work flawlessly on my Passport SE. All Bluetooth and NFC functionality works, phone controls work and noise cancellation is great. Has BT and optional headphone cord connectivity, airplane dual-pin headphone adapter, charging cable and decent hard-shell carrying case.

I definitely love the MDR XB series too! I've got the 950BT and recently picked up an entry level XB550AP. Both work pretty well for me as well on the Priv and desktop.

Just the way they should work: device agnostic, none of this iOS and Android specific hardware like Bose and others. I have a pair of wired Bose sport headphones (Android version) and only the volume + key works on the inline controller - dumb idea.
