Ok, Hi all, after all that Iphone/apple cloud breach/hacking news, I was doing some re-search on BlackBerry security, got these rather "old" posts,

BlackBerry Torch 9800 OS was hacked by the same team that hacked the iPhone in 2010. A bug in the WebKit-based browser was the reason why the team could get access to the BlackBerry OS 6 by visiting a specially-crafted web page.

And the most updated one is this one from Blackhat season 2013

And there are bunch of people and so called "security experts" that clain the NSA was able to tap/infiltrate BlackBerry OS 10.

Sooo my question is, how secure or strong is BlackBerry OS 10?

And if you guys have any links or proof that BlackBerry being hacked in the passed post your links here.

As far as we know, nobody managed to hack the OS, although third party components (WiFi, Adobe, Bluetooth) have been patched to prevent exploits a few times.

But BB10 itself seems to be fortress. As usual.

If you had 100 years and a 10,000 core supercomputer you may get close to hacking a BlackBerry... by then you would need more time...and more equipment...that's why BlackBerry went to 256 bit encryption from 128 bit...get it yet?....They will go to 512...1024...etc...
