    The other day I changed the password for my Facebook account from my BlackBerry 10 device. But when I got the confirmation mail from Facebook, it said that the change occurred from Mac OS X operating system and Safari browser, which made me think about it.

    The about page in the browser shows Apple Inc. as one of the contributors. So I guess they both are in fact connected for sure.

    This is because the browser uses webkit, which Apple contributed to making

    it s because of the browser engine (webkit)...

    WebKit is a layout engine software component for rendering web pages in web browsers. it was deved by Apple and then made open source, then used by everyone but IE & Opera pretty much.....

    New Opera is just Chrome anyway. Firefox uses Gecko, though.

    The OS itself is ever so slightly related, since OS X and QNX are Unix-like.
