I haven't been able to receive an update directly from BlackBerry for BlackBerry10 in God knows how long. I just so happened to go to the Software Updates in the System Settings as a monthly practice of habit and to my surprise I received a Software Notice on my BlackBerry Hub a few minutes later. Honestly, it took me by surprise.
Which leads me to ask, has anyone used this to update their system. I'm a little suspect to what it will do so late in the life of BlackBerry 10; given I was under the impression it only has a month or so of operation left.
Thank you very much! I heard something about December 2019, but wasn't sure I wasn't dreaming.
Do you know whether there's been any issues with this update, and if everything still works after updating.

Since you did not say what device you had (also if you have a Z10 and the version is STL100-1 DO NOT USE THIS AUTOLOADER). Using a PC download the correct autoloader for your device. You only need the large zipped file (1.46Gb file only). Unzip the file, plug in your device, and run the autoloader (an .exe file when unzipped). It will totally wipe your device and take about 15 minutes to finish.
Thanks, I have the Z10 and the Passport SE. I updated the Passport and left the Z10 as was; to see if there was a difference.
So your heads up is appreciated and relevant to my situation.
I need serious help with my blackberry classic. Nothing is working at all. And I'm about to give up. I feel done. My android apps just suddenly stopped working. My amazon app store even stopped too. As if it's not enough, my blackberry world is also not working. Help me oooo!

So the f-driod app must be installed to access the yalp apk?
No, you don't have to install the F-Droid app store. I keep it on my Passport for updates to RedReader, Currency, DroidShows and a couple of other apps that run extremely well but it's not necessary to do so.
