Has anyone ran any benchmark for BlackBerry OS 10.2.x till 10.3.x, let's say for Z30? I am wondering how big is the performance improvement between OS versions.

What software can be used for it?
If I use Antutu, does it mean I am benchmarking only the Android runtime part?

Use Geekbench, it's a native BlackBerry 10 app. If you use Antutu, you will only benchmark Android Runtime performance

And you should find all wanted results on geekbench website.

    Thanks for the info.

I downloaded Geekbench from the BBW however when I run it it just gives me a blank black screen and stay that way forever.

I checked their website out apparently they do not support BlackBerry OS anymore.

I ran into the same issue when I wanted to run Geekbench on my Passport running 10.3.1.2072, so I e-mailed Primatelabs the creator of Geekbench, they replied and said they would investigate the issue and see if they can reproduce the issue.

BlackBerry 10 is still supported, Primatelabs just wasn't aware of the issue with the latest OS'es

I was actually planning on doing just that: Run Geekbench when I'm still on 10.2.1.3062, and then again after I update to the official 10.3.1.

However, Geekbench tests the CPU and memory speed (via math operations). Improvements to the OS might have no impact on those benchmarks. For example. Let's say the BB made jpeg compression more efficient. This will result in the jpeg test in Geekbench having a better score now. But, if BB improved the speed of opening the browser, Geekbench will not detect that improvement.
