Here is a neat feature I found playing on my Z10.

sliding finger down from the top on the z10 lock screen will put the device into bedtime mode.

an easy way to get to lock screen is to leave device till screen goes off and locks or click top button and swipe up on screen a bit till lock screen is shown, as in video above.

hope this helps someone out there as i never seen it on video or talked about yet.

I totally agree! This^^ would be a nice option to have on a toggle switch within the settings menu. Some may like the clock off while they sleep, I prefer if to be on for a quick peak at night. The swipe down from the lock screen is much more convenient than opening up the clock icon.

press the power button (top) to turn off the screen. long press to bring up more options - lock & restart. keep holding to turn off.

this lock screen was demoed at BBJam last year in September.

The other neat thing is if you want to quickly set the alarm to another time, you can just drag that red dot that is around the perimeter of the clock to the desired hour you want to wake up. As you move the dot, it moves in 5 minute increments. I found setting the alarm by dragging the dot to be much faster than going into the alarm and setting each number.

Yes, a dock would be perfect!! I have been looking at trying to modify the dock for my retired 9800. Haha.

I need to be able to get calls, in case my mum becomes sick.

I just wondered if this automatically changed the notification setting, which would be handy.
Have to experiment later.

You can allow phone calls only if you want while in bedside mode.

I just wish it would auto bedside mode when plugged in like the old BB do.
