If I enter a new appointment in my calendar and try to set the time for the appointment, as soon as I touch the start or end areas the calendar app closes on me. Tried multiple battery pulls/restarts and it still does this. Anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

When in the calendar app, when you click "Add", try clicking the down arrow where it says "Calendar", see if there is an 'account' associated with your Calendar.

Do a search. There is a fix for this in the other many threads. Delete your google account and re add it as exchange/activesync
