Maybe they will abandon bb10 after all.
Ok we all know bb10 is not famous, or profitable.... but is a hell of a quick OS.
Its a real shame it will most likely succumb to android.
The exclution from the priv says it all

I think it would be kinda cool to have a dark hub option and a squircle.

And how do you know that?

Only kind of misc thing. I'd like to see "toasts" more sleek (possibly a tad transparent, with a cool effect when they appear and disapper, eg left to right) and I also want them to disappear when I touch the screen.
Also a dark hub, better looking folders, dynamic wallpapers like on the Priv, a wallpaper which will "slide" with the pages (if your wallpaper is in landscape mode and you've got a square screen) and well... The contacts app.

I guess.

Open source the android runtime, and have third party developers update it and tweek it and etc, give it more access through whatever apis needed, and have it as a paid app in BlackBerry world!
BlackBerry would solve it's OHA issue, and developers get to play around and even have Google play integrated and hek, make some cash out of it!

Good idea but I know BlackBerry won't do that.
Remind me of HTC One, HD2, also.

I'm reasonably certain that ART is a reserved client that's baked into the OS. I can't imagine that they'd make it editable/replaceable at the user level.
And all signs point to being geared towards Android.

I have a dream, that one day I'll be able to mark a BBM chat as read.

I would like a native Sound Profile Scheduler. None of the apps I have found allow you to use custom sound profiles in the scheduler.

Yup. I don't know why people can't read a simple (We don't have any future plans for BlackBerry 10) message from BlackBerry. Developers have know this for over a year now. Developers are the ones who are in the trenches and we understand the ramifications when BlackBerry stops work on the frameworks. Stopping work on a framework means that the company has no future plans for anything the framework runs on. Every time in the past 30 years of programming, when I see the developer tools and frameworks stop moving, that means the platform that uses them doesn't have a future.
1. Create caller/text whitelists for bedside mode which will then deactivate after bedside mode has been changed to normal mode.
2. Ability to auto launch an app at a particular time

Go to Wikipedia and search BB10
Other than security updates the OS is dead.
Lol cute thread.

Dark hub, better Wifi reception.
A better class of troll would be nice too. One with an IQ over 80 would be lovely ; we can all dream.

When playing music while multitasking make an option in the volume popup banner to add a song to favorites. Even if it's just an outline of a star that will turn to solid when tapped. I usually play music while playing billiards online on my phone and it would be nice not to have to stop and minimize the game to go into the music player and overflow menu to favorite a song. I run into this a lot. I don't think I'm the only one who would like this option.

I agree! ... it would be really stupid to not continue BlackBerry OS, this would be breaking their neck!

Ability to delete or hide any tab from the hub (i.e. Facebook or Twitter) without having to delete the app

I understand that current and forthcoming updates might be kept to a bare minimum, but there are several things I REALLY like to see in coming iterations (preferably in the next three). In fact I have a burning desire to see the below happen:
- Full Android app runtime update and support to Marshmallow
- Let Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin (and all the other 'standard' social networking apps like Instagram) be done by their respective teams so that Blackberry 10 has the most updated social networking apps and kept up to pace with its iOS and Android counterparts.
- A time-lapse function built into the Camera app; more filters and effects.
- Ability to remove Android apps in full (not just the icons that are gone).
- Full update, better response times and enhanced UI/AI improvements to Blackberry Assistant.
- Blackberry Maps to be updated with public transit options
The time-lapse function allows us to be more creative and do more on our already awesome Blackberries. Reference-in-point: How Does the iOS 8 Time-lapse Feature Work? | Studio Neat Blog
And lastly, I know this may not happen now, but my stubborn self really like to see more apps back in Blackberry World for - native BB10 (Starbucks, Uber, Flipboard, Vivino.... where are you??)
