Because BB10 is a winner Conite! They just dunno it.
BB10 may be a winner for the 0.2% or so of smartphone users who still have it, but it is not and never will be for the other 99.8% who don't.

Then we still wouldn't get an updated ART as Nokia is producing Android stuff now.

That's what they said when Google first announced that Android would be *the* alternative and serious competitor to iOS and look at Android now. All BB10 needs is some serious development and marketing. Sure, it wouldn't ever knock iOS and Android off of their thrones but with serious dev and marketing it could reach the 3rd place.

I know and I agree with you. When I posted what I posted, I missed out on the fact that you weren't responding to the ART argument above your post, I see that now. So it didn't make sense to respond like that. Sorry 'bout that.

At this point, BlackBerry hardened Android 7.0 might happen before 10.3.3.

Really? If Microsoft couldn't do anything with it what could blackberry do? This is not sarcastic I am curious to hear your take? I think microsoft should buy BB10 and dump the money they have to into it and advertising keeping or re-hiring the old crew beings their OS sort of stinks! Even if they re brand it!

    Wait, this was a joke?

    -Dread Pirate Regan
It was a joke yes, that's a pity that BBOS is dead, but I'm not going to buy android, ios, or another os. I don't like any mobile os, waiting for one that will make me happy.

Aren't you glad about that? I mean: sure, they could give another date but why bother if they might not make that one either? This way they protect themselves from missing yet another date.

I'm running my own updated yet downgraded ART. 172 and working well for me! Loving it on battery life and voxer app.

For some reason. 172's shell is larger then all the others!

    Who knows!...

People can tell me there is little to no difference until blue in the face, I see the difference and pulled ART from nearly all versions and tried them! 110 from 556 and 172 seem the most stable and best on battery life. By stable I mean open apps faster and open apps that some as in the latest runtime does not!...

    If anybody wants them, LMK.

I have all the arts except the 53 I think it is which is prob from 2014 when BlackBerry 10 still had their crew!

So throw out your working toaster because the company does not make it anymore, and they don't particularly care about you?

How did you achieve that, given that ART is part of the system core? I do want them though.

I pulled them all via sacschi then downloaded the entire OS in rawest form and then split them so I could then pull system apps hence the runtime's when BB10 was still on board with their crew so I am not running a so called hot fix run time that sucks ya battery and certain apps do not work that run on 172 and 110. You can add them via the chrome browser by getting the free blackberry extension which auto loads them over top of the existing run time bars on your BlackBerry device. If you want the two files for 172 or 110 ART just let me know when and I will share them from my Box as a link but they expire so we need to do it when we are both available as the box links seem to expire.

Hope this makes sense and there IS a Difference, DPR

    Main Art: https://app.box.com/s/mmanr0vzv6ww6w9vvbdu9ppk4wns9445

Art Shell these are both matching for .172 art:
    https://app.box.com/s/ensm37cvnmj7q1bkhvkzfohcmhiqh3gq
(the shell for 172 is larger for some reason then any other arts released)

You can load these right overtop in any order via DDPB (I suggest Chrome extension though) and then let it settle into the system as you may see green bars but there is NO risk to ya system.

If you rather have 110 let me know.
This was a passport Dalvik aka ART.

I suggest the app by cellninja called appninja to check afterwards what version runtime you are running... it's worth every cent!

    Load, reboot, wait, enjoy.
