As each day goes by, more and more people leave
BB10 for Android or IOS. The need to roll out 10.3.3 becomes less and less necessary. I've been using a PRIV for about 4 months now. I pulled old BB10 device from drawer and it's not as user friendly as I remember it. Really, what does it do that Android doesn't? Meanwhile the list of things I can do on my PRIV is long compared to BB10....

Does that list include getting hacked?

Since Blend won't be supported going forward, will 10.3.3 allow us to uninstall it from our devices?
It always autostarts on boot up.

I have no issue with you, you can post as you feel. But reality is if the update does come it may brick your phone only to BB apps. Are you ready for that?..................

Of course you phone was exposed to this vulnerability for months. Hope you didn't make a credit card purchase via your Android phone.

I have an Android tablet since BlackBerry won't sell me a bb10 one. But I make sure nothing, absolutely nothing, critical goes on it.

Most of these types of "vulnerabilities" are simply proof of concept exploits concocted in a lab setting by security experts. Almost none have ever been seen in the wild, and fewer still that actually led to data loss.

    As described in the article:

A Google spokesman said the exploit was for research purposes, worked only on an undisclosed subset of Nexus devices, and "could not be used in real world attacks without substantial modification and even further research."

Really? If Microsoft couldn't do anything with it what could blackberry do? This is not sarcastic I am curious to hear your take? I think microsoft should buy BB10 and dump the money they have to into it and advertising keeping or re-hiring the old crew beings their OS sort of stinks! Even if they re brand it!

    Wait, this was a joke?

Microsoft knew little about the sector, but half the people that made Nokia what we all loved have left anyway.

I meant Microsoft buy BB10 and dump money into advertising and updating the ART, etc. You know the things that can make it great again even if they re brand it as their mobile os stinks. They have the money to throw around also!

Microsoft has dumped billions into Windows Mobile without success. Why would they do down that road again?
