I don't expect 10.3.3 to ever arrive. At upgrade time, 3 months, I will abandon BlackBerry just as they've abandoned me. Chen had his chance. Now he's allowed the designers to wreck BBM groups as well. I give up and so has Chen.

My question to you sir is; why are you waiting for an update that is dramatically overdue? Why not just carry on with your life as if there wasn't a "promised" update in the future and act surprised and happy when (if you live long enough to see it) when it is released? Worry about things that matter and don't waste time and energy waiting for something that isn't going to matter in the long run.

You are very confused, I am not now or at any time been waiting for the 10.3.3 update. My Q10 is working fine as it is and as I have said before, "if it is working as required why would I choose to update?"

I'm just wondering if most people understand how certification works? It's very much like applying for a building permit. You provide the required documents, and then request for clarification or changes come back, and then you have to deal with that and resubmit. This may repeat several times. It is difficult to predict how many iterations are required.

I have not been involved with NIAP but generally speaking certifications are about paperwork.
Often you have to document the test cases that they will perform to demonstrate conformance with their spec.
That is harder than it sounds and its usually money well spent to get a "fixer" to Sheppard your product through the process and "maintain a rapport" with the right people along the way.
Is that too subtle?

I've never dealt with niap certification either. However with many of these organisations, it's like trying to hit a moving target. I don't suspect there's a big team at Blackberry that's able to deal with this process. If they're taking too many curveballs, it makes for a long game.
