OMG I just want my friggin' phone to work. I tried to trade it in for a credit towards another device from my carrier and they wouldn't take it because it wouldn't connect to the network. #sigh

Maybe there's a third-tier 'player' willing to manufacture limited numbers of OS 10 handsets once NIAP certification is in place?

You know, for spy agencies, big banks, army units and so on.

    We've discussed that before: it's a wishlist.

The official changelog is already known:
    -NIAP and CSE certification
-New anti-phishing feature in the browser
-A few new toggles in NFC settings
-But MOST of all: many security and bug fixes

Well it may have been posted but for many it was also necessary chance due to other failures. Especially when other postings said the new update would be in august. Come on. Who knew it would be that bad. All other beta releases were so good it was not a risk. Plus you could reload leaks ets. But this is ridiculous. For me. I have moved on. Curious to see when it will be resolved.

Considering that 0.2% of an estimated 7 BILLION is still 14 million, that is like the entire population of Chile.
Blackberry is looking at Google's dinner plate while Apple steals the potatoes.

But its not 0.2% of the population of the earth its %0.2 percent of the smartphone market.
As the smartphone market size increases BB10's slice of it decreases.
    Lets say 2 billion https://www.statista.com/statistics/...ers-worldwide/
    0.2% of 2 billion is 4 million.
0.2% is probably inaccurate on the high side now but nobody really cares.

And even that theoretical 4 million is split between BB10 and BBOS. Not sure how we've digressed this far, but putting it into perspective like that really shows how bad it is.

Since when was Blackberry's market-share divided between BBOS and BB10. A BBOS customer is an equally important as a BB10 customer as they are more likely to be a repeat customer given a product can meet their demand. Also I used statistics for cellphones in general (likely incorrectly) But now I wonder if BBOS are included in smartphone category in these stats.
