That's why I still use my OS7 blackberry. The calendar was just simply exceptional. I never had issues, especially with conflicts, since it would tell me if there was one.

Gotta give credit when due. BlackBerry listened.

If only they listened about all the other problems and complaints.
They finally fixed the Calendar!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I'm so glad that I can once again see exactly how many/at what times my appointments are while in Month view.
Why do the bars have to be so narrow?
I don't like the 10.3 calendar either. Prefer the old 10.2 calendar, as well as other features ( like original clock).

The new calendar on 10.3.2 is way better that 10.3.1.
God bin missed the side bars. The 10.2.1 calendar still looks better/cleaner but this one is alright for now. Way better to use.
Happy with the option to choose between bars and dots. That way all users will have something that works well.

Not just vertical bars is back. Growing numbers are back too

Sidetracking a little; I just noticed some screenshots of the, from what I hear, very popular "Sunrise Calendar", that Microsoft gobbled up recently, and just looking at the pictures (without paying its apparently extensive feature set, etc, any attention), things look rather familiar.
Has anybody used Sunrise? Could it be that the designer behind the changed BB10 calendar was trying to ape it? :P
You're the smart one.
The OS7 Calendar has more functions and it retains entries for at least two years. OS10 Calendar only retains entries for 29 days, then it erases them.

I think it depends upon what type of account you have. I think my ActiveSync account allows me to choose how long to do Calendar entries, but I'm not sure if that's x time ahead or behind.
So I'm back on my z10 again after toying with my iPhone and Android for a month. And the only thing I can say is that Blackberry's calendar still beats both the iPhone and Google calendars in terms of usability for me. Just about the only other calendar that is better is Outlook and PlayBook calendars.

I prefer 10.2 to 10.3

Yep, me too. That's the reason why I'm still on 10.2 although slowly more and more new app versions are not supported on 10.2 anymore ...
It's great to see improvements to the calendar in 10.3.2 after the post-10.2 regressions.
The agenda view is much better in OS7.x (Bold)
Sadly the application is bad here in OS10
I use the month view and tap a date so I have a daily agenda view and horizontal date bar for the days.
In the Agenda, we have a surfble week.
Better was OS7 where the Agenda was endless!
Workhorse: BlackBerry|Q10, SQN100-3, OS 10.3.2.2639; Power Workhorse: BlackBerry|Passport, SQW100-1, OS 10.3.2.2639 ; Germany.
This is indicative of the problem with OS10 from the start: it lacks the capabilities of OS7 in almost every standard app.

How does 10.3.2 Calendar look and work?
Posted via CB10
The calendar seems to be better now. Important features have been returned. It should be pointed out that switching between calendars, Google, BBM, local, ect is better than anything else I have used. Something many seems to overlook.

Hey Just Me, thank you for the update.

So funny - as a T-Mobile customer with a Q10, I haven't seen any updates since 10.2. I was getting pi$$ed off at that, but the more I read of the frustrations here, I'm counting myself lucky.

I am out of my mind about this. Had made notes in the calendar app for meetings that are now gone. I love my BlackBerry but this is making me want to sell it and jump platforms. Or maybe just go back to my Palm Tungsten.
How can they still consider this a business tool with that kind of bs?

I'm with T-Mobile and have a Q10 as well.
I updated to 10.3.1 using Sachesi and then went back to 10.2.1 and was glad I did.
After reading Just Me's comments I went and took a look at 10.3.2 on the Passport at AT&T. It's still ugly but it looks better. Unfortunately they only have one Calendar and I couldn't see what happens with multiple calendars.

I've had the same problem forcing me to return to my office for those notes.
Really bad in a time sensitive situation.
It's more of a liability at times than a tool.
I now carry an iPhone for back up to avoid that issue (as well as for its reliability with certain apps, like Square Register).
