Calendar works for me. It's a calendar...

People aren't saying it's not one. Or that it doesn't work. It works! But not the same efficiency as the previous version. Read the entire thread for your reference.

I hate the new calendar. It's a huge step back. Not sure who the geniuses who thought this would be an improvement.

This needs to be a continuous conversation. BlackBerry ruined the Calendar app, and it needs to be fixed or reverted. Period. If you don't want to participate in the conversation, go somewhere else.

For those who *think* that the 10.3.1 calendar is same as the 10.2.1's...

Here's what's missing from the former...

    - Schedule Indicators
    - Growing Numbers

I miss the 10.2 calendar too my biggest gripe is Remember entries with reminders no longer show up in the calendar. Am I missing the setting? To me, thats what made the BlackBerry calendar the best in the world.

I am glad the snooze on the fly is back and baked in. This alone keeps the calendar better than any of the 3rd party apps on my iPhone 6. If they would just fix Remember.

I think you're talking about Tasks. It's there in the new calendar.

In Calendar > Settings > General > toggle Display Tasks in Calendar...

Tasks must have a due date in order for them show up in the calendar.

Things have been 'improved' since then. If you schedule tasks, only the first task receives an icon on the calendar. No need to plan ahead for BlackBerry calendar designers, they live in the moment, the past and future: irrelevant. If they like it this way surely everyone else will agree.

    No.

Well, so is this another bug in the 10.3.1 calendar?!

I'm beginning to think that very few people use the calendar... What do Blackberry's corporate clients do?

Google Calendar/ Outlook/ iCal is what a majority of BBRY users prefer to use, that too on their desktops/ laptops?

Is the BBRY device calendar just a synchronised reminder / notepad for most folks?

I have been using the BB10 calendar since the early Z10 days. I think it is a great calendar. I don't like the 10.3.x version as much as the 10.2.1, but I still prefer it over what's out there. The recent integration with Remember has made it even better (you can pretty much manage your tasks right from within the calendar). I think the calendar with the current capabilities and the 10.2.1 UI would have been just fantastic!

A 10.3 UI for the calendar is fine as long as they bring back growing numbers and the vertical side bars.

Agreed. It would be preferable if the vertical side bars are colour coded by calendar, but I'll settle for the grey bar of 10.3.0, which is sadly more functional than 10.3.1's coloured dots. I've made my peace with Jony Ive's flat trend, but function should always be the first consideration in industrial design.

That's pretty much what I meant by "UI". Plus, the font in the monthly view which shows all the days in bold, even those in the prior and next month. And, not to mention, the ugly giant green circle!

10.3 seems like a major step backwards, as far as integration with Remember. I will probably go back to the iPhone 6 unless I can figure out how to get Remember task to show on my Calendar.

It's there... what is the problem?? Make a task. Set the due date. It appears on the calendar .

The problem is the Reminders. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. And when they do show up, they disappear a few minutes later. Sometimes my task disappear too.

This is a stock OS. I just got the Classic from VZN Thursday. Maybe its my phone?

    Wtf is this thing?

For people who has some calendar appointments everyday, the dot next to the date does not mean much.

We want our growing numbers and side vertical bar back!

I will even take the green buttons, just give us back the growing numbers and the side bar!

Why BlackBerry, why did you remove a functional part of such a crucial app?

A tad late for me to be joining this conversation.. so I've not yet fully read the responses!

Thought, not sure I need to as the OP has said it all...

My sentiments 100%. This style of calendar in 10.3.1 is a TOTAL failure in my eyes. Had it not been for the other great features of 10.3.1 I would downgrade to 10.2 variant.

If only I could get the best of both worlds!

Please, please BlackBerry I do hope you are reading this and make an effort to rectify this disappointment of a calendar!

I'm pretty sure it's a setting somewhere or a sync issue. Checking the accounts > calendar is your best bet.
