    Is it just me or has the new update improved the speakers via the media player, bluetooth and videos.

    Just sounds way more louder clearer!

    Actually, yes.

    Just playing some Steeldrums music on the Xtreme Music app. Clear, more lifelike, less muffled. More like the PlayBook, if I'm not totally wrong.

    Yeah aptx is for bluetooth. Was playing music in the car and noticed the difference

    Yep walking the dogs and listening to music streaming over LTE or local FM with JayBird BlueBuds via Bluetooth.

    Personally I think the speakers have improved but definitely the sound via bluetooth has.

    Speakers can't be improved unless you change them. I don't know may be they fiddled with inbuilt equaliser or its just a psychoacoustic effect.

    Not sure. All I know is the BlackBerry PlayBook has the best built-in speakers of any BlackBerry product to date.
