I ordered. 128gb micro sd from Amazon. I have bought past 128gb micro sds from Amazon; and I have had good luck so far.

This is a warranty exchanged product after my first micro sd from this seller had this exact same issue. Weird thing is that the micro sd works fine on my Windows 10 tablet, so I am thinking it has to do with the phone somehow.

The same messages can be seen on both my Q10 and my Leap. My Q10 can run a 128gb micro sd that I bought prior to this.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Can you try a smaller card......? This might be the phone, the 128 may be too big.

I use 128 GB SanDisk in my Q10 without any problems. I think this is a problem with this particular card.

I had to format my Samsung 128gb card to exfat in windows for my leap. Works great after that.

Shocked that your device ain't reading it at all. I got a 200gb from Amazon and it works perfectly fine in both my BB10 devices.

Somehow when you insert a card that needs exfat, bb10 downloads or perhaps activates some driver already in the phone. I believe the deal is there is a royalty to use the exfat format, so BlackBerry tries to limit the payments. It makes sense if you think about it since many people stop at 32Gbytes.

But generally once you get a large capacity card working, it works for all large capacity cards.

The 128gb card came with fat32 format from the factory, so my BlackBerry could not recognize the 128gb card with a fat32 format. Once I switched the card to exfat from my computer then put it in my BlackBerry, the card worked after downloading the driver.

If it came with fat32, you could never fill up the card. It would be odd for the card to be delivered with fat32.

I'm not totally convinced bb10 handles exfat well. The access seems much slower than fat32.

I had a hard time getting my 64gbyte settled down on my Z10.

You should be able to format a card, it just can't address file sizes larger than 4 GB per file (if I remember correctly). BlackBerry 10 does support exFAT. I've had a card formatted in the exFAT format in my Z10 without any issues. As long as your device can detect the card AND you get the notification that it downloaded the driver, you should be good, in theory.
